About
I am a senior scientist at Raytheon BBN Technologies. Prior to joining BBN in 2014, I was a post-doctoral researcher in the Spoken Language Processing group at LIMSI–CNRS where I worked with Lori Lamel and Jean–Luc Gauvain. I obtained my PhD in 2012 from The Ohio State University. My adviser was Eric Fosler-Lussier and I worked in the Speech and Language Technologies Lab.
My research focus is mostly automatic speech recognition and translation, but I am also interested in applying machine learning to other types of time-domain signals. Recently, I have been working on semi-supervised and unsupervised approaches to domain adaptation, especially in the context of sequence-to-sequence models. Outside of my primary projects I am also working on information retrieval and reinforcement learning.
